1st Nov 2022: Welcome Mr. Liang Xin joining the Team as TA and Ph.D. candidate.

21st Sep 2022: Our work about the topological Dirac surface states in 166-type kagome metal is published in Science Advances.

To date, in the idealized two-dimensional kagome lattice, topologically Dirac surface states (TDSSs) have not been unambiguously observed, and the manipulation of TDSSs and van Hove singularities (VHSs) remains largely unexplored. Here, we reveal TDSSs originating from a ℤ2 bulk topology and identify multiple VHSs near the Fermi level (EF) in magnetic kagome material GdV6Sn6.

1st Aug 2022: Welcome Mr. LIN Zihan and LU Wenlong joining the Team as PhD candidates.

Our Work is published in Nature Materials on 22 Feb 2022.

Mobile excitons in metals have been elusive, as screening usually suppresses their formation. Here, we demonstrate such mobile bound states in quasi-one-dimensional metallic TaSe₃, taking advantage of its low dimensionality and carrier density.
